Mod note on 'This seems very bad'

phunniemee: "I know we're like not supposed to "use metafilter" to "incite violent insurrection" or whatever but I want them hung by their heels at a gas station near the national mall. Fuck all of these horrible, hateful, dangerous people." I'm not going to delete this, and our guidelines about this have been obviously in flux and tricky to enforce for awhile now (it's a priority to address this! and now that we have a Community Manager it'll happen sooner rather than later!) But folks, in general it's a good idea to be really careful with this kind of rhetoric, not because any of us cares what happens to these people but because it does make other community members uncomfortable.
