Mod note on '"the unhealable rift forced between a human being and a native place"'

Just a note, folks: i started this thread (without my mod hat on), but i'm also the mod with most of the scheduled time for the next day and a half. I am going to be extremely cautious about performing any moderation actions in this thread unless something blows way the hell up, which obviously i would prefer not to have happen.
